I am fortunate to live in a vibrant, family friendly ward like Orléans West-Innes. We have the best of both worlds – urban style shops and services, complemented by plenty of green space, parks and gardens.
Last year I retired from full-time work after completing over three decades in the Federal Public Service. I have maintained my part-time position in guest services at the Canadian Tire Centre, where I’ve worked since 1996. I am also the current President of the Blackburn Toastmasters Club. Currently I am in the process of starting up a non-profit organization called Soconvalley.
I have also served my community in other capacities such as:
- Executive member of the Blackburn Community Association
- Manager of the Blackburn Stingers midget hockey team
- Board member for Harwood Condominium Corporation
- Administrator of Government Charitable Campaign for PWGSC 2001
